Have you every felt empty after Christmas? So much money spent on a single day, gifts that may have just been put in the closet and never touched again. There is a consumerism epidemic out there, forcing us to believe we must spend our hard-earned cash on gifts for others. There is an alternative.
In order to complete this mission, think of a simple but heartfelt gift you can make for someone. Perhaps you go to one of those pottery painting classes and create a few coffee mugs. If you have an artist’s eye, a framed drawing of something that reminds you of your person will bring them joy for years. Even just a homemade card is better than a gift card to Starbucks!
Leave a field report to collect your 30 XP: what did you end up creating, and for whom? Were they pleasantly surprised, and how do you feel after giving a gift you’ve put your heart into?
